Boyd Tower - 5 Caravel Lane
The Boyd tower was completed in 2002 as part of the second stage of the residential buildings at NewQuay comprising two towers - the Boyd and the Palladio - with the waterfront podium apartments of the Sant‘Elia. It was named after the artist Arthur Boyd (1920 -1999).
Emphasis was placed on form making and light modelling, with surfaces and details highly crafted. The architecture evolved to be enduring, both in design terms and sustainability in the marine environment.
Comprising 172 apartments over 22 levels, the Boyd tower replicates The Arkley to form a strong 3-piece composition with these two flanking, matching towers strengthening the presence of the prow shape form of the Palladio as the centre piece.

Sant'Elia - 30 NewQuay Promenade
The Sant‘Elia waterfront podium apartments were completed in 2002 as part of the second stage of the residential buildings at NewQuay along with the Palladio and the Boyd towers. It was named after the architect Antonio Sant'Elia (1888 - 1916).
The Sant’Elia forms the strong horizontal element addressing the NewQuay promenade in contrast to the vertical tower elements behind. Accommodating 45 apartments the Sant’Elia has its own distinct identity and address highlighted by the robust core ten sculptures on the promenade.
Situated only 23 metres from the waterfront, Sant'Elia offers exclusive boutique living. The four level building has a focus on maximising views of the promenade, harbour and city skyline.
